Science Week: Ocean Waves

Waves are everywhere around us. Join us for an interactive lesson where we will demonstrate how waves work through physics experiments and musical instruments. We'll also learn how to simulate ocean waves on Scratch.

Workshop given in collaboration with Mikaela Soroka (B.Sc Oceanography) at the Halifax Central Library on Sept.16 and 18, 2019.

Circuits and Electricity

Learn the engineering basics behind how simple circuits and electricity make light switches, air plane rotors, and heaters work in our homes and businesses!

This program is intended for younger students (8-12) but stay tuned for an extension to Arduino microcontrollers and Raspberri Pi's for older students!
